Bendable Concrete
Ultra-high-ductile FRCM, as an effective alternative for construction material, looks and feels like normal concrete, however exhibits an unusual ductile behavior like malleable metal. When damaged, cracks in FRCM are limited to less than 50 microns, thinner than human hair, and undergoes self-healing, much like the healing we expect from a paper cut on our fingers. With its excellent crack control and self-healing properties, FRCM can extend the service life of the concrete infrastructure and enhance its sustainability.
